Patient Testimonial

  • Dr. Thal,

I am reporting that my Tennis game, after 6 months recovery, is good – and I feel great overall. I wish to thank you for your incredible surgery skill and success. I am told, and firmly believe, that you are the very best! I just wanted to be more explicit in expressing my gratitude.

    Thank you so very much.

  • Dr. Thal,

Just a note to say thank you so much for fixing my shoulder! I am back to full strength with golf, and more importantly, I can sleep!

Now, tennis, is another story…might be back one day for my knees!

  • Dr. Thal,

J and I would like to thank you again for the successful surgery on our son’s shoulder. He played the infield on a summer adult league and then 2nd base in the fall. This spring came along and he worked his way back out of center field! Thanks again.

  • Dr. Thal,

It has been a year since I left your care. The knee that you repaired is doing great. I now run 5 miles 3 times a week, and 10+ miles once a week. I have no pain. I never believed I’d be able to run like this again. So, thank you for your care, your dedication to your work, and the healing your brought to me.

Thank you again for all your help. I surely would not be doing what I honestly love to do if it wasn’t for you. You have been a prominent figure in my life and words can not begin to explain how grateful I am.

  • Dr. Thal,

You performed surgery on my shoulder which was remarkable. After badly tearing four rotator cuff tendons you fixed me up and I am back playing tennis once again. In fact, I even made it to the semifinals of a very big competitive tennis tournament. I am very grateful!!! Thank you again!

I hope you guys all have blessed years to come, and most of all, thank you Dr. Thal for fixing my jacked up shoulders. It has been a long road but I made it!

  • Dr. Raymond Thal, Nicki Ferramosca, and Jesse Lewis,

Thank you! My broken clavicle (collar bone) is like new, and I couldn’t be happier thanks to all of you and your supporting staff. It may seem that I’m a bit tardy writing this thank you and reference letter, but if you recall, my mountain bike accident occurred over 16 months ago immediately followed by repair surgery performed by Dr. Thal, and a couple months of physical therapy led by Nicki and Jesse.

This past weekend I participated in the Reston Triathlon, my 18th time. Last year I did it with the agreement that I would not race it, rather I had finished it – ride carefully, take in the view, and really enjoy it. No race wheels, no aero bars, just fun! On Sunday, I raced it. I swam my third fastest time ever. That’s the testimonial I was waiting for! In my opinion, not bad for being a young 50 years.

Again, I want to thank Dr. Thal, Nicki Ferramosca, Jesse Lewis, and the entire staff at the Town Center Orthopaedic Associates and Physical Therapy. You fixed me like brand new!

  • Dr. Thal, Melissa, and the entire staff are amazing. I was very anxious prior to my appointment given the potential circumstances of my injury and previous experiences I have had with other are doctors regarding my injury. The demeanor, compassion, and support of the entire staff, made a tremendous impression while relieving a good deal of stress regarding my condition. Dr Thal and Melissa have fantastic bedside manners and an honest professionalism that is not often seen these days in the medical profession. It is a true privilege to have had this team (doctors and staff together) taking care of me. Thank you all so very much.

  • Dr. Thal,

It was nice to see you at my last follow-up. I really appreciate the great job you and your staff have done. The PT Department was excellent as well. It’s wonderful to be pain free and be able to move my arm again. You know, it’s the little things…

    Thanks,
    Paul
